New commercial rent relief program:
– Goes directly to tenants
– If revenue losses of 70%+ then government assists with 65%
– If revenue losses of less than that, relief will be assigned on a sliding scale
– If business has suffered due to mandatory lockdown restrictions, then there is a top up of up to 25%
– Administered by CRA
Wage Subsidy:
– Extended until June 2021
– Freezing the 65% until Dec. 19
CEBA
– there will be an additional $20K loan if qualifying businesses can attest to losses of revenue due to pandemic. $10K forgivable if repaid by 2022
